Indoor air quality - nanoparticle emissions from toasters
With a focus on indoor air quality, we wondered what the particle emissions from a toaster would be. Before we even put any bread in, it turns out that the hot element is a significant source of very small particles which persist in the environment after the toaster turns off. Presumably these are metal oxides from the element?
