CPMA Mass calibration with Certified Reference Material

We've been busy collaborating with researchers and national standards labs to develop our SOPs, and now offer direct mass calibration of CPMAs using PSL Certified Reference Material.

Most PSL is certified as a size standard, but the recent release by AIST in Japan of PSL as a CRM for both size and mass offers new possibilities to calibrate CPMAs directly for mass.

The enhanced mass calibration for the CPMA offers improved accuracy and traceability, with the opportunity to apply an adjustment based on the calibration data for improved reproducibility between calibrated instruments.

This is beneficial to all users of CPMAs, but particularly as part of the CERMS technique, providing a calibration bench for aerosol particle mass as part of Cambustion's PartiCAL range of benches.

This mass CRM can be applied to both new and existing CPMAs during service and calibration.
