Size Matters @ Cambustion - Inhaled Particles / International Particle Toxicology Conference 11-14 May 2026

We’re excited to be attending the Inhaled Particles / International Particle Toxicology Conference (11–14 May 2026).

At Cambustion, we believe size is everything - we create unique instrumentation that is used by industry, academia and governments in over 35 countries globally. If you’re working in inhalation science, toxicology, or aerosol research, come and talk to us at the show about how we generate truly representative, well-defined particles for exposure and measurement.

Inhaled Particles and International Particle Toxicology joined forces in 2026, coming together to disseminate current knowledge and understanding surrounding inhalation of all types of particles and fibres, and particle toxicology within and beyond the lungs.

We are attending this conference, which will be held in Glasgow (UK) at the Marriott hotel, 11th-14th May 2026. The two conference strands will run in parallel with some joint sessions, and delegates will be free to attend any sessions of interest within the programme.

There is a huge array of planned discussion topics for the four-day event, from Indoor and outdoor air pollution to emerging pollutants and hazards, nanomedicines and AI-assisted technologies. You can download the event's programme.

The Inhaled Particles Conference series is a long-standing conference of the British Occupational Hygiene Society that brings together a multi-disciplinary community of scientists whose key research focus is the inhalation of all types of particles and fibres. First held in 1960, the 2026 conference is the 14th in the series.

The International Particle Toxicology Conference (IPTC) is a series of scientific meetings focused on particle toxicology that brings together experts from various fields. The conference has been held since 1979, rotating between continents, and covers basic research and applications in workplace safety, environmental safety, consumer safety, and medical/diagnostic developments. The 2026 conference will be the 14th in the series.
