Aerosol Applications & Support Engineer
As this business area continues to expand, we seek an additional Aerosol Support & Applications engineer, to join our team supporting global customers for our aerosol science instrumentation.
This role will support long term expansion of our team, and therefore we also welcome applications from those who may not be ready to start a new role immediately (e.g. people who have yet to graduate).
Engaging closely with existing and prospective customers around the world (both in person and remotely), you'll develop a detailed understanding of their technical requirements, assisting them in establishing the suitability of Cambustion equipment and offer support through commissioning and beyond.
As your understanding of customer requirements and instruments issues develops, you'll be involved in ongoing product development.
Working in a global SME, you'll have opportunities to rapidly gain skills and experience across a very broad range of areas (including business and product development) while maintaining appropriate focus on important details.
Key Responsibilities
You'll
Connect with our customers, both remotely and in person at conferences and site visits around the world
Understand customer needs, from pre-sales, working with them via Design of Experiment and through to evaluating customer data
Identify opportunities for product improvement and new applications
Provide application technical support to customers
You
Have a science or engineering background at degree level or equivalent
Are comfortable with both theoretical and hands on engineering & science
Enjoy learning new skills and self-developing your understanding in response to technical challenges
Have an appreciation for the commercial and technical aspects of business
Are driven to deliver good technical solutions and identify opportunities for improvement
Are confident being the face of a company, and are an independent traveller
Have the right to live and work in the UK
Salary + Benefits
The role is full time at 35 hours per week.
Salary from £32.5k+
+ Profit Share (variable, but typically 10% of salary in recent years)
