Facilities Manager

Cambustion is a world leader in automotive emissions measurement and control. CamMotive is our Electric Vehicle (EV) group, providing support to the EV development industry.

We have over 70 employees based in Cambridge, UK. Our Engineering Services groups work on a consultancy basis for vehicle and component manufacturers.

  • We have comprehensive state-of-the-art powertrain and vehicle testing facilities.

  • We evaluate and develop powertrain control solutions for future vehicles.

Due to recent and planned future expansion, our Engineering Services Groups are now recruiting engineers and technicians to join the team.  The Facilities Manager role will involve managing and maintaining the infrastructure associated with our powertrain testing facilities. The ideal candidate would be self-motivated and enthusiastic with experience in building maintenance, electrical or HVAC systems. There is scope to adjust the details of the role according to the applicant’s skills and experience.

The role is varied. Typical day-to-day activities could include:

  • Conducting and managing planned maintenance of a complex building system.

  • Managing upgrades to the test facilities based on our future business needs.

  • Conducting small works.

  • Overseeing contractors.

Essential Attributes

  • Experience in building maintenance.

  • Awareness of health and safety requirements.

  • Care and attention to detail.

  • Must be eligible to work in the UK.

Preferable Attributes

  • Qualification in HVAC and/ or electrical maintenance.

A competitive salary will be offered which will be dependent on relevant skills, experience and qualifications. In addition, Cambustion operates a profit share scheme.
