Features
- In-cylinder measurement over wide range of crank angles
- Minimizes volume of gas extracted from cylinder
- Fully computer controlled
The Cambustion CSV550 is a complete solution to allow extraction of gas from inside the cylinder of a firing engine. The system permits full computerised control of valve actuation based on timing information from a crank angle encoder. The technique can be used with Cambustion fast gas analysers to allow in-cylinder measurements over a wider speed range than was previously possible, while minimizing the volume of gas extracted.
Key applications for the sampling valve are measurement of cylinder residuals at all engine speeds, transient EGR measurement and GDI and HCCI development. Download a brochure or an animation showing the mode of operation
